Correct. Why not just test it to find out for yourself? It's quite simple to do.
Thanks I just did and that works. Looks like that will be my solution. I appreciate your time and help.

Does 4.3.3 still display 1 signal if you have a preserved baseband?

That's basically what I've been doing, but I would have thought in this smart phone world that something as simple as a distribution list would be available.
Anybody have any tricks?

However, the iPad was the first device I attempted to sync with and the rental did not appear. I only went to the iPhone when I was unable to move the rental to the iPad.

I have an airport extreme base station w/ omni antenna and a snow base station. Is there any way I can connect one to my LAN and share the connection to the other station (far away from the LAN hookup) wirelessly? or would I need two extreme stations for this?
thanks

My advice is to stop worrying. Apple's not going to release any software, even a developer preview, that'll melt your computer.
And unless the app you are using was updated for Lion, who knows if those temps are even correct.

This will be settled....
Hah, it is sad to see Apple get pulled down into this. For apple to back date stock options, in order to have some executives get more money is a double edged sword.
sure some talented execs are happy. But the losers will be the stockholders who will be bitten by this snake.
My Bet, Apple will have to take a major quarterly charge!! perhaps enough to throw it into a loss for the quarter, yes i mean a charge wiping out all profits.
all of this hinges on how much of this bs happened.
no matter how you look at it, this isnt good for apple. however at least they aren't trying to cover it up.

If I shine a bright light on the screen, I can see what is going on. Actually, I just know that pressing the power button and then the 'S' button puts a Mac to sleep. I then just let it sit for like 20 seconds, hit the space bar and it woke with the screen lit up.
I don't know that this method works every time. Sometimes I need to reboot the Mac. You do that buy hitting the power button and then the 'R' button.
Thanks, I learned something today. :)
I've always used the Cmd+Option+Eject shortcut for sleep, Control+Cmd+Eject for restart, and Control+Option+Cmd+Eject for shutdown.

Generally Mac OS X and iOS applications are written in Objective-C using XCode. XCode 3 is included on your Mac OS X installation DVD. XCode 4 is available via the Mac App Store.
You can also check out Mono (http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page). It will let you code in C# on both the Mac and the iPhone. I don't know if acceptable to submit Mono apps to the either of the app stores though.

I'm predicting that AAPL will lose some points after they actually come out with the report and it takes away from some of their profits. After that happens, I'm planning on buying about six shares. I think Apple as a company has a lot of room to grow. What do you guys think?

Their interests, especially in terms of performance, are vastly different even than other pro-users.
Not really. Unless you care to elaborate based on your own professional experience, this is not what I've seen in the scientific sector. When a lab or organization uses Macs it tends to be localized to a particular group and almost never runs OS X natively. But admittedly my experience is limited to the US National Labs, JPL, and CERN.
Again, just because there are Macs in science doesn't mean creation of a "Macs in Science" forum will lead to any productive discussion about it. Look at how dead the Distributed Computing forum is now.
CalBoy's idea is also a good one - if there isn't enough volume for "Macs in Higher Ed", is there enough volume for "Macs in the Workplace?".
"Macs in the Workplace" threads pop up every now and then, but they're in the vast minority.

This is great! This is probably the best thing that could happen to this building. It was a mess over the last few months. Apple has a history of tastefully renovating historical buildings. Can't wait. For once we're getting something decent in Brisbane. :)
