There is still nothing wrong with posting an opinion.
However, members who post an opinion as fact, or repeatedly post the same thing, without adding anything new to further discussion, are going to have to adjust to the new rules.
Ahhh. Now that is an improvement.
Did you see this?:
What are your sources? :D
Copied directly from the Debate Rules page:
Sources: If you make claims of fact but don't cite sources when requested, the posts may be removed. If you started the thread then the thread may be closed or removed.
Repetition: If you repeat the same claims without adding new information, the posts may be removed. If you started the thread then the thread may be closed or removed.
Trolling: Posts that appear to be designed to cause argument or irritate rather than contribute to a constructive discussion are considered trolling and will be treated as such.
Duplicate discussions: If a new thread repeats a topic that has been previously discussed or debated, without basis for a separate discussion, the thread may be closed, removed, or merged into an earlier thread on the same topic. A news report on a previously discussed issue doesn't automatically deserve a new thread.
Sorry for the double post. I forgot I was the last one to post.

Thanks for the tips. If they could sort out a way to keep the battery life and add bluetooth I'm all for it. But, otherwise I don't think so. I've seen the adapter you're talking about and I'd hate to kill the sleek profile of the Nano with one. I suppose I'll just wait for the next generations of the Nano to come out and see what they offer. Or, maybe the headphones will die and I'll grab her one of those.

So... your doing a review? If you are what is wrong with more than one review? Also, I didn't advertise anything. Oh, and I thought you ordered the Rebel, not the Torrent.
Si, and I don't mind you doing it. I just don't want this thread getting steered in a different direction just in case it is relevant and useful to someone else.

The M0116 should have the same tactile feedback as the original Apple Extended Keyboard (released in '87 with the SE and II), although be careful here, as the Extended Keyboard II was released in 1990, and those keys are a little softer (and quieter).
And I'm with you - I consider the late 80s Apple keyboards to have the best feel, although they are a little loud by today's standards.

I like a lot of them, the classics like Bing and Nat and all that... but the 3 I found that stood out for me this year...
Bob Dylan - Christmas in the Heart
Bootsy Collins - Christmas is 4 Ever
Booker T & The MGs - In The Christmas Spirit
probably because a) the Dylan album was new and b) the other 2 don't get a lot of air time in the malls lol

I have a folder under my username called Movies where I store all of those. To delete the redundant formats, you'll have to locate them through Finder and manually delete them.

Won't let me purchase it yet, though. Not the one I wanted but it's better than the Griffin case I have right now. 14.99 is a good deal.
Are these silicone cases sticky like regular ones, for example, getting stuck in your pocket.

I've been playing with Ableton Live recently and I was wondering if there's a program that allows you to use your iphone as a MIDI controller for Ableton...I found Novation's Automap, but that doesn't seem to be able to send midi notes, only CC numbers. Basically, I'm looking for something like Novation's Launchpad. Any suggestions?

My USB cable for my iPod touch has been fraying on both ends for a very long time now and I think it will stop working eventually.
Does Apple replace these things for free (or at all)?
Thanks.

Anyone has a clue if Apple use integrated Intel HD graphics in SandyBridge processors as it does in MBP ? I'm particularly interested if desktop CPU graphic (which I believe is lower spec than mobile HD2000 vs. HD3000) can drive 27'' display in normal desktop operations and discrete GPU can be turned off ? It would be also interesting to know if they use Sandy Bridge Quick sync for video transcoding - anyone have a clue about that ?

I found a temporary workaround for 2011 MBP owners. After doing the latest update, boot in SL and navigate to the Update folder mentioned above and delete the ProductMetadata.plist file. Then reboot and the Lion should boot as per normal
Note that you'll have to do this every time you want to boot Lion which is strange but there you go. I'm typing this from the latest build of Lion on a 2011 MBP.

Well, it has nothing to do with the fact that this particular method has a selector as a parameter, it has to do with the fact that the sort code needed to perform four comparisons between elements of the array. There are functions ike qsort which takes a function pointer, or qsort_b which takes a block parameter; they would call their comparison code four times with this data just as sortUsingSelector.
Let's play a game. I have four different numbers a, b, c and d. You have to sort them, but I don't tell you what the values are. If you ask me which of two numbers (for example a and d) is the smaller one, I will tell you. How many questions do you have to ask?
